Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE), also known as Palm Kernel Cake (PKC) or Palm Kernel Meal (PKM), is a by-product of the palm oil extraction process from the kernels of oil palm fruits. After the palm kernels are crushed and the oil is extracted (usually through mechanical pressing), the remaining solid residue is PKE.
